Make your own Candle private event info
I am so excited to offer a new way to gather and get creative!
Join us for a memorable experience that is perfect for any occasion; birthday, bridal shower, Holiday gathering or just because its fun to get creative! Kids too!
* Gather your favorite people, don't forget to create your drink/snack menu! (Food and drinks are not provided by Brookman Candle & CO.)
* Pick your location you'd like to host, understand that generally this is the hosts private property, however using a venue works too as long as the venue pre approves the activity. Choose wisely, may the odds ever be in your favor! haha just kidding your spot will be perfect!
* I travel to your location of choice, within a 20-30 mile radius of Otis, MA. We can chat on options if further, don't be shy, lets get in touch!
* Electricity must be available in close proximity to area of creating, and preferably a hard floor surface, at best, a well protected carpet (wax and carpets don't mix well)
* Setting up will take about an hour and a half prior to guests arrival and the class will run about 1.5 - 2 hours depending on the number of Guests. Roughly 4 - 4.5 hours total from set-up to clean-up
* Disposable table coverings can be included for $10.00, size and number of tables to be noted at time of reservation. Protecting the work space is important and makes clean up a breeze, if you prefer to opt out of the added coverings please note that Brookman Candle & CO. is not liable for any damage to unprotected surfaces. I can provide my own 6 ft. table for housing the materials for workshop, but Brookman Candle & CO. doesn't provide any additional tables nor seating for guests.
* All reservation's are made with a minimum of two weeks in advance (depending on product availability at time) and a non-refundable class fee of $50.00 will be taken at time of reservation to hold that date as well as a signed waiver adhering to the contracted date.
* In the event you need to cancel or postpone, please be courteous and do so with 24-48 hour notice before the start of the class. We'd love to work with you to find a new date, however a separate non-refundable class fee of $50.00 will be charged for the new date.
* Fun Fact: Host receives their creation free if 12 or more guests attend the class, not counting the host. Call it a "Baker's Dozen" meaning a total of 13 people, host + 12 guests.
* Minimum group for Private events outside of my 20 mile radius is 12, 10 if in my travel radius.
* We offer many classes at local venues so if you are thinking of hosting a class but can't make the min, contact us and ask about when/where our next events are. We will be hosting 1-2 a month all over Western and mid-western, MA
* All guests must sign waiver prior to start of the class.
* Pricing and what's included: $55.00 - $65.00 per person/bowl (depending on vessel choice, different options available seasonally) a second bowl is an option for an additional fee, but must be noted at time of reservation.
- Each rustic wooden bowl holds 16 oz. of wax (unless a different vessel is specified at time of reservation) and comes with your choice of 3 crackling wood wicks or 3 cotton wicks per bowl, mix matching wicks is not an option due to the difference in their burning habits. When choosing your bowl options please choose one style for the entire group. (see below for photos of bowl options)
- An array of dried florals will be available to each guest for added aesthetic and creative design. Festive wax melts, plant based glitters and many more (all additives are seasonally based) - We use all natural Coconut Soy wax and non toxic Phthalate free fragrance oils infused with natural essential oils to provide you with the cleanest burning candle possible!
- All of our aroma options are seasonally based, however if you or the guests have preferences on aromas you would like to have or not have on hand please be sure to let us know and our team will put together a preferred aroma menu. - Tie it all together with a beautiful bow, color options may vary due to season.
* Please note that all candles poured day of event need a minimum of 1 week to cure, however 2 weeks is optimal before the initial lighting.
* Any allergies specific to this workshop should be made known prior to start of the workshop.

Age group varies on ability. Children age 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Wax reaches 185 degrees at time of pouring.
